# Acceptable Use Addendum

This software is licensed under Apache-2.0 with the following additional conditions.
You agree NOT to use it, in whole or part, to:

1. Take **automated adverse action** against any person (suspension, reporting,
   disclosure, denial of service) on the basis of a score.
2. **Publicly identify, name, accuse, rank or "watch-list"** any individual as a
   suspected offender.
3. Score **real persons** using the illustrative default weights, or without: trained
   and validated weights, calibration on real held-out data, a fairness audit, a DPIA,
   a lawful basis, and meaningful human review.
4. Target or weight individuals by **identity, ethnicity, religion or national origin**.
5. Build or train on **child sexual abuse material** or any unlawfully obtained data.

Outputs are risk signals for human review, never determinations of guilt. If you cannot
meet these conditions, you may study the method but must not deploy it against real people.
