Terms of Service
AnomalyShield is an informational research project and documentation hub. This website and all associated materials (PDFs, research outputs, and content) are provided for educational, research, and policy purposes only.
Important Disclaimers
- All data and examples are illustrative. The numbers, scenarios, and detection rates in the reports and on this site are synthetic or order-of-magnitude estimates. They are not measurements of any deployed system and must not be relied upon as operational or forensic facts.
- Scores are signals for human review only. No automated action, suspension, public naming, or adverse decision is ever taken based on a score. Trained humans review every case. Confirmed matters are escalated exclusively through lawful channels (e.g. NCMEC, Swedish authorities, IWF, DSA trusted flagger routes).
- The project follows the governance principles in the Methodology & Confidence Report: one universal base rate, behaviour (not identity) is flagged, fairness audits per language/group, full auditability, and meaningful human oversight.
Use of the Materials
You may download, share, and quote the reports and content for legitimate research, policy, training, or journalistic purposes, provided you:
- Attribute the source (e.g. "AnomalyShield Integrity Brief, 2026").
- Do not remove or alter the disclaimers and "illustrative only" notices.
- Do not use the materials to make automated decisions about individuals or to create public watch-lists or exposure.
No Warranty & Limitation of Liability
The materials are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The authors and publishers accept no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the information. Always consult qualified legal counsel and primary sources before relying on any data for operational or regulatory purposes.
Changes
We may update these Terms or the content at any time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the then-current version.
